California New Construction Assessments

The timing and protocol for picking up new construction assessments was recently changed in California. The California State Board of Equalization now advises that for multi-year new construction projects that the base year values be established each January 1st and then a final base year value as of the date of construction completion rather than waiting until final completion of all components, as was done in the past.
